Whilst all of us that don't fit the white male heterosexual middle class stereotype have to deal with being the other, it is worth keeping in mind that both sexes are oppressed.

In light of the recent rape and murder in Melbourne and the vigils that have occurred, it is everyone's responsibility to call out inappropriate behaviour when we see it. The mother to educate her son, the partner to educate her boyfriend so we can start to change the way our society views the female.
